Robin Gelfenbien is the self-proclaimed Ambassador of Fun and an NYC-based storyteller, writer and comedian. She’s a three-time Moth Story SLAM winner who has performed on PBS, RISK!, Mortified and countless other shows. She’s also shared the stage with Hannah Gadsby, Trevor Noah and more.

Robin is the Creator and Host of the storytelling series and podcast, “Yum’s the Word,” that features her homemade ice cream cakes. The show has been named a New York Times and Time Out New York Critic’s Pick. Guests have included Tim Gunn, Jason Biggs, Joy Behar and stars from “Orange is the New Black.”

New York Magazine called her solo show, “My Salvation Has a First Name: A Wienermobile Journey,” “the highlight of the Fringe” and Time Out New York gave it 4 stars.

She’s performed her original comedy songs at The Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center and on Sirius Radio. She’s also been featured in Marie Claire magazine and she starred in a commercial directed by Spike Lee.

Mara Wilson

Mara Wilson is a storyteller, writer, and recovering child actor best known for her roles in Matilda and Mrs. Doubtfire. She is the host of What Are You Afraid Of? a storytelling and comedy show about fears and phobias, and the author of the book Where Am I Now? which will be available September 2016 through Penguin books.

James Bewley

James Bewley is a performer and writer whose work has been presented as part of SF Sketchfest, the Soundtrack Series, How I Learned Series, Tom Shillue’s A Funny Story, Dead Darlings, Literary Death Match, PS122’s COIL Festival, and Split Personality. He is the producer and talent behind the Dale Radio comedy and culture podcast. He trained at the Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles and is a former member of the San Francisco sketch comedy group, Killing My Lobster. Bewley is a co-creator and voice talent for the cult-favorite web series Strindberg and Helium, which received a top prize at the Guggenheim/YouTube Biennial in 2010. He is currently a Senior Program Officer at the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.

Josh Blau

Having spent more than 20 years of dealing with the IRS and the Department of Labor, Josh Blau, a Manhattan CPA by day, enjoys taking the micropohone and sharing his world views which inevitably include some wonderful (and terrifying) adventures with his wife, her family, their 5 children, including 11-year-old triplets, and of course, his mother. He’s been featured on the Moth podcast, the Moth Mainstage and has won 3 Moth Story Slams.

Susan Kent

Susan Kent is a writer, storyteller and producer/co-host of Tell It: Brooklyn, a monthly storytelling open mic. Her stories have been featured on The Moth Radio Hour on PRX and a variety of podcasts including The Moth, Dingmantics, Can’t Make This Up, and Kevin Alison’s Risk! She frequently performs at shows around NYC such as, Ask Me: Stories, Long Story Long, The Lost and Found Show and Mara Wilson’s What Are You Afraid Of?
