“Yum’s The Word” is a new show that blends old-fashioned birthday parties with modern- day storytelling. Each month comedian and storyteller, Robin Gelfenbien, throws a party for an audience member replete with Mad Libs, balloon animals and homemade ice cream cakes. Join Robin and some of New York City’s best storytellers for a sweet and decadent night of juicy stories and treats.

Craig Baldo

Craig Baldo is a writer/comedian who splits his days between freelance copywriting and audience warm-up for The Colbert Report. His stand-up has been featured on Comedy Central, Late Night with Conan O’Brien and NBC’s Late Friday. Michele Carlo

Michele Carlo is the author of the memoir Fish Out Of Agua: My Life on Neither Side of the (Subway) Tracks. As a storyteller, she’s appeared across the U.S., including the MOTH’s GrandSlams and Mainstage in NYC, and on NPR with Latino USA. Tonight’s story is an excerpt from the stage adaptation of Fish Out Of Agua—full show to come soon!

Aaron Wolfe

Aaron Wolfe is a Brooklyn-based writer, filmmaker, Moth GrandSLAM winning storyteller, and obsessive fan of Tottenham Hotspur — an English Football club, which he knows is dreadfully hipster and he’s pretty embarrassed about it, but he’s trying to own it, you know? He’s also the host of “First Time, Long Time” a brand new storytelling show about sports and games and silly stuff.
