Ravel Study Group, founded by NYC’s working tv and film composers, is open to anyone curious about the study of orchestral music and it’s application in present day music careers. The first hour is a group discussion and score study of Ravel’s “Daphnis et Chloe” Suite No. 1″, and the second hour will be a presentation by composer and orchestrator Bill Sherman, who is currently the music director on “Sesame Street”. Feel free to stick around for conversation and networking at the bar.
