Modern Rivals
Modern Rivals weaves whirling keyboard lines, lush loops, and dreamy guitar tones around balladic vocals and a hard-hitting percussive backdrop. Their complex, yet gracefully composed arrangements radiate a sort of controlled chaos, as textures and tones swim along with a glowing beauty. All the while, the band keeps one foot firmly planted in the songwriting world, seamlessly integrating the good bits of pop music with exploratory intricacies. They recently released Cemetery Dares LP — a promising introduction.

Twin Wave
Formed in 2013, Brooklyn-based Twin Wave first unleashed their unique blend of psych-pop via their debut single “Relapse” and subsequent self-titled EP out last year, making a splash with sets at the New Music Seminar, MTV’s O Music Awards, and NYC’s CMJ Festival as part of the Deli Magazine’s showcase.
Earmilk described their EP as, “a blend of psych-rock fused with R&B & pop vocals, layered with soothing percussion that creates an intoxicatingly meditative vibe,” while the Wild Honey Pie cited them as “multi-faceted and engrossing, taking the listener through an expanded sonic territory.” Get lost in Twin Wave’s energy and intoxicating live show, and look for new music coming in 2015.

The Walking Tree
The Walking Tree has been a band Since 2011, however their journey together began long before that. The members of the band grew up together playing in the aggressive punk/hardcore scene on Long Island. Warren Trunz (Vocals) and Raffi Froundjian (Guitar), going back nearly 10 years playing together, decided to start a new band along with Kevin Trunz (Drums), and Michael DiVittorio (Bass). The recent addition of Dominick D’Agostino (Guitar) has brought everything to a whole new level.
The band has been compared to acts such as, Incubus, Jane’s Addiction, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and many more!
Their recently released Live EP entitled Swan Sessions is something you will definitely enjoy. Tracked Completely live, and recorded by the band, you will be refreshed to hear the raw sounds of great rock music. The live videos of the Swan Sessions can be found YouTube.
The Walking Tree hopes to be apart of the amazing legacy of music that has been left behind by unforgettable bands like Led Zeppelin, Rush, to Nirvana, and still even today bands like Foo Fighters and many more! They are striving to inspire others the way that those bands and many more have inspired Each member of The Walking Tree.
