Perfect Girls and Exploding Boys… DJ Ceremony presents the seventh edition of “A Night Like This,” an all-night immersion into the music and soundscape of Alternative Rock legends The Cure! Following their initial late-’70s 3-piece Punk recordings, The Cure released a series of classic records throughout the ’80s that solidified their position as legends in the Post-Punk, Alternative Rock, Gothic, and New Wave genres. “A Night Like This” is proud to present an entire night in tribute to this dynamic, widely influential, and still beloved band. Dance, Shiver and Shake to an all-night array of Cure hits, rarities, deep cuts… complimented by the best in Dark ’80s Alternative, Gothic, UK Postpunk, and Cure-associated artists. Cure films & videos screened all night.

DJ Ceremony has played at well over 150 venues in and around New York City since 2001. He is the current producer and DJ of the celebrated monthly NYC Smiths & Morrissey fan party at The Gallery At LPR: “Oscillate Wildly,” which is now in its sixth year. He also founded and co-produced a weekly neo-burlesque and variety show: “Corruption At Tammany Hall” in 2012, and produces an array of specialized themed parties around New York City.

“Oscillate Wildly”—The Celebrated NYC Smiths & Morrissey Fan Party, now in its 7th year. “Oscillate Wildly” is very pleased to be presenting its third special expanded edition to kick off Halloween weekend 2016! We’re thrilled to be holding our party in the gorgeous main space of Le Poisson Rouge in NYC’s West Village. Oscillate Wildly’s “Moz cinema” films are sure to look stunning on Le Poisson Rouge’s huge screens! The October 27th edition will also serve as the after-party for Mexrrissey’s live performance at LPR. As usual, bring your dancing shoes to “Oscillate Wildly,” and hit the dance floor for a night packed with the most beloved Smiths & Morrissey classics and deep cuts, punctuated by the best in classic ’90s Britpop, Manchester, Alternative ’80s, and UK Postpunk.

Twig The Wonderkid was named “The Greatest Living New Yorker” at the L Magazine’s first annual nightlife awards and co-founded two of NYC’s best-loved parties: “Trash!” a weekly indie-rock night running since February 2002, and “Glamdammit” a monthly glam-rock night running since September 2004. He also produces the multi-media events “Oh! You Pretty Things”, “Night of a Thousand Feathers”, and can be seen out in the downtown New York nightlife scene most nights of the week.
