Born in North Philadelphia to Nigerian parents Tunji’s first interactions of music came from artist he heard in the house, Including Roy Ayers and Fela Kuti. Tunji moved around the city until finally relocating to Blue Bell, PA where he began to take music seriously at the age of 14. Around the age of 16, Tunji linked up with the BrainBandits arts collective and has been developing as an artist under them for the past 3 years. Tunji is 19 and currently enrolled as a sophomore at West Chester University, all the while finishing up his latest album ‘The Love Project’.
