Graduate of The Juilliard School & Yale University, and Founder of the international charity, Concerts for a Cure, Jourdan is an award-winning classical and jazz violinist and composer—a favorite whether headlining for sold-out crowds at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center or Jazz at Lincoln Center, or in clubs like LPR and The Bitter End in NYC. Featured on Steve Martin’s Grammy-award winning album, The Crow, Jourdan’s own compositions and film scores have debuted at Tribeca, Cannes & CUFF Film Festivals; and he has been awarded Tribeca’s Disruptive Innovator Award. A popular guest on: CBS Sunday Morning w/Charles Osgood, Good Morning America, The Today Show, and MTV; Jourdan, a UN Arts for Peace Ambassador, is the recipient of the World of Children Award—the “Nobel” Prize for Global Child Advocacy, & the National Jefferson Award for Public Service.
