Joshua Cohen was born in Atlantic City, NJ, in 1980. He is the author of three novels, Witz, A Heaven of Others, and Cadenza for the Schneidermann Violin Concerto, and a collection of short fiction, Four New Messages. He is currently at work on a nonfiction book, Attention! A (Short) History, to appear in 2013. Cohen lives in New York City.
