Jon Hopkins puts a fresh spin on an old favorite, We Disappear, originally released in 2013. The OG version is slightly more complex. Although it lacks vocals, the track has a depth and wholeness to it, providing those same “tingly feelings” you get with properly placed emotive vocals. On the other side of the spectrum, the latest version features the haunting vocals of Lulu James. This arrangement is a slightly subdued version but with the addition of James’ vocals, a whole other dimension of the song appears (well, yea…literally). We couldn’t tell you which one we like better because frankly, it’s like loving one twin sibling more than the other, they are just so darn special in their own ways.
