Artists

Lucy Woodward
An exceptional talent born in London and raised in New York City’s beloved Bronx, Lucy Woodward is already a young veteran of the music business. Lucy's song "Dumb Girls" from her Atlantic Records 2003 debut album was a Top 40 chart hit which allowed her to tour internationally, as well as garner her significant press exposure including a spot on "The Tonight Show.” An award-winning songwriter, Lucy has written and recorded songs for several film soundtracks including most recently the Golden Globe-nominated “The Blind Side.” Lucy’s second album, Lucy Woodward Is...Hot & Bothered garnered high praise from critics (“A steamy, string-kissed slice of retro British pop by a versatile singer/songwriter” proclaimed USA Today, while Billboard described how ““Lucy's a ball, equally appreciable for fans of melodic sing-along baubles and highbrow aficionados of finely honed musical composition. A sonic turnstile that flips through dreamy pop, jazz and bluesy bebop”). Starting out 2010 with a bang, Lucy signed with the legendary jazz label Verve Records, and has just finished her third album, titled Hooked!. Produced by the legendary Tony Visconti (David Bowie, U2) along with contributions from Justin Stanley (Nikka Costa, Eric Clapton), Itaal Shur and Tim K., Hooked! will be released in May, 2010.
Conrad Korsch
Conrad Korsch has worked as a bassist and vocalist with some of the finest singers and songwriters in the music business: Rod Stewart (his steady gig for the past 7 years), Carly Simon, Rosanne Cash, Joan Osborne, Madeleine Peyroux, Carole King, Marc Cohn, Gavin DeGraw, Andrea Bocelli + Bette Midler, to name a few. He has performed on nearly every TV show which features live music, and has been featured onstage and in the orchestra pits of many Broadway shows, as well as performing behind the scenes in recording studios for countless jingles, albums, and soundtracks. "Live Love Leave" is his debut album as a singer-songwriter, showcasing his abilites on lead vocals and a variety of musical instruments as well as his beautifully atypical string quartet arrangements. Combining the poetic storytelling elements of Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen with the passion of Jeff Buckley and Damien Rice, this album contains 13 songs drawing on the human experience which, while deeply personal, are rich with characters and metaphors, engaging listeners to either relate their own experiences or simply observe from afar. "I'm Leaving", the first track on the CD, was featured this past summer in the USA Network television show "Royal Pains", and the song "Firefly", which features a duet with Rosanne Cash, was set to original ballet choreography and debuted at the NJ Performing Arts Center as part of The Butterfly Project. He is joined on the recordings by Rosanne Cash + Joy Askew on vocals, Shawn Pelton + David Palmer on drums, Matt Beck + Thad DeBrock on electric guitars, Alex Brofsky on french horn, Antoine Silverman + Jonathan Dinklage on violins, Hiroko Taguchi on viola and Anja Wood on cello.
