Martyn
Martyn is a Dubstep producer, originally from Eindhoven in the Netherlands. After helping start up an influential Drum and Bass night ‘Red Zone’ in his home city, together with Nymfo, Pressure & mc Jay, he turned his hand to producing, releasing a string of tracks and remixes for labels like Marcus Intalex’s Revolve:r, DJ Flight’s Play:Musik and the Timeless Music group’s L-Plates label.
He has more recently turned his hand to producing other forms of electronic music, starting with the sublime ‘Broken’, a refreshing hybrid of Dubstep and Techno. He has also started his own label, 3024, which promises to further blur the lines between electronic music genres.

Samiyam
Ann Arbor’s latest prodigal son and lover of sprinkles on doughnuts, takes the legacy of all Detroit’s talented musical sons and daughters and makes Hip Hop beats filled with snippets of Soul, Funk, 70’s Italian horror flick soundtracks, Nintendo bonus level music, and 90’s Hip Hop. Somehow, with this much content, the beats still manage to sound gloriously minimal and disjointed. Fans like Benji B, Andrew Meza and XLR8R have been eagerly snapping up his tracks, as Sam freeze frames Electro energy and spits it back out as twisted future Jazz. Dabrye is a fan, Daedelus describes him as “a thrilling sound to break the sameness,” and Flying Lotus is his brother in arms (they collaborate on the project FLYamSAM).
Starkey
PJ Geissinger has been performing as Starkey for only four years and has already garnered International attention for his energetic live/dj performances and original sound. ... (more) Starkey is co-owner of Slit Jockey Records and a member of the Seclusiasis and TROUBLE AND BASS crews. In 2005, Starkey won both the North American and Mid-Atlantic Laptop Battles, in Seattle and Washington D.C. respectively. He was also featured in the Philadelphia City Paper’s 2005 Spring Music Issue and awarded the Choice Award for “Best UK Grime DJ in Philly” along with Dev79. Following this success stateside Starkey was selected by Vex’d as one of seven new DJs for Radio 1’s MARY ANNE HOBBS’ dubstep elite ‘generation bass’ and was the only non-UK DJ to be chosen. Following up his 2006 debut on Werk Discs,“Local Headlines”, Starkey’s latest album “Ephemeral Exhibits” is due out on November 10th on the world famous “PLANET MU” label. In the past 2 years, Starkey has had a string of vinyl, cd and digital releases on labels such as Peace-Off/Ruff (France), Nonclassical (UK), Dead Homies (US), Starksound/Rag&Bone (UK), Offshore (US) and LoDubs (US), Zombydub (UK), and Dress 2 Sweat (UK).
If you like grime, techno, breaks, jungle and all things bass then Starkey hard edged spaced out crunk is the right sound for you. Already being compared to the likes of Vex’d, Skream and Tipper, this underground musical genius is certainly one to watch out for in the future.
Those that are familiar with Starkey’s work know him to be constantly pushing the boundaries of all musical genres in order to shape his sound however in a continued effort to expand his creative outlets he has enlisted the help of a new pseudonym, “moves!”. With his first release imminent on UK based label Dress 2 Sweat (“All Skate/Playaz”) Starkey continues to surprise and impress with every new release.

Kotchy
Intelligent, deconstructive, dub-conscious, beat driven, electro-acoustic productions. Vintage NYC feel, unique vocals, synth leads & melody. Top lines that ooze style, sleazey glitched out percussive hip-hop and electronics...... Brooklyn-based beat junkie Kotchy is a producer, singer, drummer, songwriter, multiinstrumentalist. With sold out 12”s and 7”s, an EP with Shunda K of Yo! Majesty, remixes for Tricky and Empire Of The Sun under his belt and Fischerspooner up next, Kotchy has been warming up for his debut long player “89”. Look out for the new "I’d Have to be High" EP and his live show in the meantime. Kotchy’s style is impossible to pigeon hole, top drawer production & sensational instrumental & visual work plus his own unique style of vocal....a hushed out, rough-yet-delicate affair that immediately attracts the ear. A drummer by trade, his percussive roots shine throughout his music. Electronics, synths, vocals, samples, grooves and beats reminiscent of J Dilla and Pharell, all blended in with the funk of Prince and Beck and littered with melody and colour. Bass, beats, buzz & crackle; A tapestry of what’s inside Kotchy’s head. A true artist and one that has only recently embarked on a solo career path, Kotchy’s song writing is highly commendable, production blockbusting, and there is plenty more to come. If you've been lucky enough to see Kotchy's live set or him performing in the past with NY revered bands The Epochs and Violet (w/members of Fischerspooner / Rufus Wainwright / Joan As Police Woman / Polyphonic Spree) then more than likely you'll already have taken note!
Kotchy plays and records every element live when making his tracks so the live the experience is breathtaking. He takes a stripped down version of his studio out in a backpack, slick vocals and heavy beats and moves effortlessly between live the mic, drums triggers and keyboard, laptop and various percussion. The show's groove, beats, bass, hooks and Kotchy's brilliant reworked mashups of classics vocals like Streisand & Joe Cocker or Springsteen & Fleetwood Mac thrown in for good measure, is a guaranteed crowd mover.
Kotchy's co-labs and remixes have been many of late. Co-labs with Rusko, Drums of Death, Starkey (Planet Mu), Reso, Benni E and his "Le Passion, Yo!" (EP) with Yo! Majesty's Shunda K (Domino). Remixes for Tricky, Empire Of The Sun, Wiley and now Fischerspooner. Attracted remixes as diverse as Rusko's Skwee Mix, The Chap, Hrdvsion, Drums Of Death, Starkey, Reso, The Silent Jeff, Eclectic Method and more including 100s of summisions from fans via the infamous Palmsout blog. Kotchy’s style leans to many yet is impossible to pigeon hole. With more on the way, he’s primed for the release of his debut long player "89” and EP "I'd Have To Be High."
